Management and direction of the facilities and business affairs of the agencies. Enforce and execute all federal, state and local laws and regulations relating to the agencies. Act as official representative of the agencies to the Development of Housing and Urban Development and NYS Division of housing and community renewal. Management of all projects of the agencies. Act as liaison between the agencies and the City Planning Board, the Housing Authority, news media and the public. Attend meetings. Moderate travel.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in business, public administration, urban planning or closely related field required. MA/advanced degree desirable.

Candidates should possess strong skills and/or experience in leadership, collaborative relationships with boards and commissions and community organizations, public/private relationships, creative problem solving and communication/interpersonal skills needed with a team-management orientation. Individuals should have strong background in urban planning and economic development, building and zoning, urban redevelopment.
