Finger Lakes Distilling
Owner Brian McKenzie was looking to locate a new micro-distillery somewhere in the Finger Lakes. Mr. McKenzie was considering several counties in the Finger Lakes to locate his project.
Project Need (problem)
The Company was able to procure bank financing but a gap remained to cover capital and operating expenses.
Project Solution
A financing package including the SCOPED Revolving Loan Fund, the Schuyler County Industrial Development Agency Loan fund and a partnership with Regional Economic Development and Energy Corporation was able to bridge the gap and provide the needed funding so the project could move forward. The facility opened in the spring of 2009.
