Park South Urban Renewal Plan

Park South, a nine-block area between University Heights and Washington Park, is an Urban Renewal Area  designated by the City of Albany, NY.  The 16 New Scotland Avenue project required assembling properties to allow for a 50,000 square foot mixed-use building to be a catalytic project for other distressed neighborhoods. Tec-Smart Building
Training and Education Center for Semi-Conductor Manufacturing and Alternative and Renewable Technologies (TEC-SMART)

In response to  increasing demand for a highly-skilled workforce for the growing semiconductor manufacturing and renewable energy industries, a state-of-the-art education facility, TEC-SMART, broke ground on March 11, 2009, at the Saratoga Technology + Energy Park in Malta, NY. Watervliet Innovation Center

Founded by the Center for Economic Growth (CEG), the Watervliet Innovation Center is a state-of-the-art technology and business accelerator focused on the rapid growth of emerging homeland and national security technology companies.  In support of this mission, the Center is within the Watervliet Arsenal campus with the US Armys Benét Labs and an Army Material Command (AMC) manufacturing center. In September 2019, EDGE announced that Cree, Inc., a U.S. semiconductor company based in Durham, NC and a global leader in silicon carbide (SiC) technologies, has selected the Marcy Nanocenter site to build its new SiC manufacturing facility. It is anticipated that the $1 billion public/private investment will result in 600+ direct jobs (in eight years) and over $4.3 billion in total statewide economic impact over the next 20 years. Office of General Services Exposition Building 

The project was designed with a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) to boost the local economy, HBP worked with the local unions and put over 900 tradesmen to work in the various construction disciplines, with approximately 840 from the local area. Click here to learn more. 



Lindsey Aggregates, Inc.

Lindsey Aggregates, Inc. expanded their aggregate mining operation located in the Town of Palermo. The company, headquartered in Scriba, added a state-of-the-art aggregate washing facility and associated units to efficiently crush and classify aggregate products. The Palermo site is one of a few approved by the NYS DOT for high-friction material. Click here for more information.

Revonate Manufacturing, Inc.

Revonate is a manufacturing entity established to undertake the re-manufacture of desktop computers, notebooks and other comparable products to sell primarily outside North America. Revonate negotiated an agreement with a large national vendor to re-manufacture monitors, projectors and notebooks for one of the three largest computer companies in the world. Anaren Microwave, Inc. was founded in 1967 to provide military microwave components for US electronic warfare systems. The company has expanded its product offerings in the defense market as well as the commercial wireless communications market. Midtown Rising/Windstream Offices

Cox & Company

Cox & Company is a high-tech, high-skilled, employee-owned aerospace manufacturing company. They are an industry leader in the design, development, test and manufacture of high quality custom systems for the aerospace, industrial and transit industries. Their heating system was on the NASA Lunar Landing Module when man walked on the moon. The company had been located on Varick Street in Manhattan and was forced to re-evaluate its location due to a near expiring lease.  Click here to learn more.

Arizona Ice Tea Company

Arizona Ice Tea is a well-known beverage distribution company with annual sales of approximately $600 million. At the time the company approached the IDA for assistance, it had out-grown its national headquarters in Lake Success, Nassau County and was seriously considering moving to New Jersey to be near one of its large manufacturing plants. Nassau County did not want to lose the current 120 jobs so the IDA worked with the company to build its headquarters on three acres of vacant land in Woodbury, Nassau County. 640 Columbia is a three-story, 336,350 SF logistics facility in NYC, minutes from Downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the largest concentration of ecommerce shoppers in the country. Gantry Point/25-11 49th Avenue

Planning to demolish only a portion of the building, the Gantry Point redevelopment required a carefully coordinated demolition plan, extensive coordination with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP), and several off-site improvements. Providing both civil engineering and permitting services for the project, Bohler utilized an in-depth understanding of New York City building codes to identify cost-saving solutions to move the project forward.
